India, Part 4, How YOU can get Involved

1.   Gospel for Asia (GFA)
a.    Sponsor a missionary for $30/month
b.   PRAY. “Prayer is powerful because our God is powerful, and he listens.”
c.    In their Christmas gift catalogue you can buy anything from a cow to Bibles for people in Asia. 
d.    Join their staff; the info is on their website. (This one is open to adults only)
e.    Sponsor a child through their ministry “Bridge of Hope”.

2.  Forgotten Christmas
a.    Spread the word through all your resources - blogger, facebook, twitter, e-mail, and others. Help make people aware of the tremendous need (Spiritual and physical) in these countries.

c.    Again, PRAY continually for the unreached. 
       
3. YWAM -This is an organization               specifically directed toward youth, their           website is brim full of ideas for you to get      involved, and here are a few of them:
a.    Volunteer as a “mission builder”.
b.   Join the staff (to join the staff you                           will need to complete their                                     discipleship training school (DTS),                            the information is on their website,                              (www.ywam.org )
c.    Support someone on the staff.

e.    PRAY.

3.  Central India Christian Mission
        a. Sponsor a child
          b. Sponsor an evangelist
          c. There are many other ways to get
          involved with this mission, for more
          ideas visit their website at

          you can make a difference”.


4. Bibles Unbound (Branch of Voice of the Martyrs)
    a. Sponsor Bibles through this organization. In the Tamil villages alone      there are a total of 9,345 unsponsored Bibles.

5. Gospel missions of India (GMI)
a.    Give financial support.
b.   Increase awareness through your ever-ready resources.
c.    And this is a must for all these organizations: Stay informed about the status of missions in India.

For both teens and adults: Pray! If you don’t catch anything else in this section about getting involved, get this. It is the main point I want to get across to you; Most Christians in America today don’t take prayer seriously enough, don’t be normal. We weren’t made to be normal; we were made to advance a Kingdom!
